Hello to everyone! Allow me to introduce myself: My name is Christine Shank, I go by "Tina". I am the Director of Nursing here at The Middletown Home. I am an RN and have my bachelor’s degree in nursing. I went to Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Indiana, PA. I live in New Cumberland, am married and have 3 sons. They are Kyle age 11, Mark age 6 and John age 4. I am married to a wonderful man and also have 5 step children. They are older and have blessed me with 3 grandchildren. I have a white German Shephard named "Flurry".

I have always wanted to be a nurse and truly enjoy working as a nurse. I was a C.N.A. when I was able to get a job and continued from there. I started out of nursing school on a cardiac floor, working with pre- and post- open heart surgery patients. I was a dialysis nurse for 12 years. I did acute and chronic dialysis with hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis and kidney transplant patients. I have been in long term care nursing for 5+ years
